Latest issues (usually technical)

Users on Windows

Despite testing the new EN21, there may be teething issues with your hardware that we cannot solve. Please file the technical issue directly with Endnote Support and/or check Endnote Knowledge Base for possible solutions.

Users on MacOS

If you cannot see EN tab in your MSWord application after installation, please refer to this FAQ to troubleshoot.

Caveat: With the release of new MacBook on 3rd generation chips, plus the release of another new OS, there may be teething issues. I check the current discussion threads Endnote Knowledge Base and I encourage you to do the same.

Retraction Watch has been integrated to Endnote desktop since May 2023. See full details here.

This is really useful as it helps Endnote users to avoid citing articles that has been retracted. The full disclosure nature of the database maintained by Retraction Watch also tells you why the article was withdrawn or problematic, so please investigate further if an item in your EN Library is flagged as retracted.
