They regulate land parcels, boundaries and land surveys in Singapore territories, including publishing the cadastral map. Also manage properties owned by the State.
They set and write policies concerning land use and conservation matters in Singapore. From 30/4/2010, they will take over the secretariat function for the Street and Building Names Board (SBNB) from the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS).
