Currently, the cost of a premium account is $5 a month or $45 a year and premium accounts do get you some additional features as seen below in the illustration from the Evernote site. But, most basic functionality is available with a free account as well, so it may make sense to try it out for a while before upgrading to see if you miss the premium features.
