Library workshops will be conducted to help you search databases for your NM3210 group project.
You will learn how to:
- Learn Boolean logic to search databases: AND, OR, Not operators; truncation; phrase search
- Search for journal articles using FindMore@NUSL and Communication & Mass Media Complete (CMMC) database.
- Search for news articles using FindMore@NUSL and LexisNexis Academic database
- Use the library proxy bookmarklet as shortcut tool to access full-text of journal articles

Group Project
Students will prepare one group research project. Each group will select an Asian country and examine how that country is dealing with computer crimes (or the threat of computer crimes).
The project may be about any of the following countries:
- China
- Hong Kong
- India
- Japan
- Indonesia
- Malaysia
- Philippines
- Singapore
- South Korea
- Taiwan
- Thailand
- Vietnam
