What is your Library PIN?

NUS Students

Your Library PIN (Personal Identification Number) is by default, your student Smartcard PIN and this was issued by the NUS Computer Centre during pre-registration (see screen shot below):

If you do not know or remember your Smartcard PIN, get online help via the Retrieval of Smartcard PIN Service.  The service is provided by Computer Centre and it only works if you have not previously changed your default PIN. If you wish to reset your Library PIN, approach our Loans Desk or contact us for assistance.

Your Library PIN (Personal Identification Number) is by default, your staff number that is displayed on your NUS staff card. If you are unable to login using your staff number, enter your NRIC or FIN number omitting the alphabets. For security purposes, we suggest that you change your PIN number to include a combination of 8 digits. If you have forgotten your PIN or if the default PIN does not work, contact us or approach our Loans Desks to request for a PIN reset.
