Setting up PubMed

If you go directly to pubmed either by googling it or typing the pubmed URL, pubmed will not be aware you are from NUS and will not automatically display the Find it! @NUS Libraries buttons.

You should instead bookmark the following URL

http://libproxy1.nus.edu.sg/login?url=http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed?myncbishare=nuslib&holding=isgnuslib_fft

These links are also found in our catalogue, databases etc.which will activate the Find it! @NUS Libraries links.

Alternatively, if you have your own myNCBI account , you can change the settings as follows

For more details watch the following video from NLM

Assuming this is done, when you search the Find it! @NUS Libraries button will start appearing next to articles that we have access to.

If you want to see results that only can be accessed via NUS Libraries' holding, after running a search, click on the filter on the right, National University of Singapore Libraries.
