Zotero - Collect, Organize, Cite and Share your Research Sources: CSL Files Created by NUS Libraries

Zotero [zoh-TAIR-oh] is a free, easy-to-use tool to help you collect, organize, cite, and share your research sources.

Citation Style Languages File

Citation Style Language (CSL) is an open source project that aims to help researchers in their scholarly publishing by automating the formatting of the citations and bibliographies. This allows scholars to focus their attention on their research and writing instead of spending time and attention on formatting their paper to ensure that it meets the publishing guidelines set by journals and scholarly presses.

CSL is supported by a number of research and citations software such as Zotero and Mendeley. In addition, there is also a CSL Repository where you can search for the citation style that you require for your writing.

CSL Files created by NUS Libraries

The Reference Management Team at NUS Libraries has created some CSL files for Journals published by NUS Departments as well as citation style requirements for Honors Thesis set by individual departments, which you can download and use in both Zotero and Mendeley. These CSL files can also be downloaded by from the CSL Repository hosted by Zotero.

We are also currently working on creating more CSL files for more NUS Departments. Do contact us via email if you have any questions or queries.
