Independent News Sources

There are many 'independent' news sources out there that claim to be unbiased and share the real news that's happening in the world.  As you read comments about these sites, you'll learn that they have their supports and opponents as well.  Always make sure to evaluate the articles you find, no matter what the source.  When evaluating a source, consider currency, the authority of the author, relevance, evidence, publisher and comprehensive reporting.  Check out this site from the Bedford Research Room describing the evaluation of news sites in more detail.
