NUS Libraries Digital Scholarship (DS) Projects

Singapore Infectious Disease Research Landscape Mapping (SIDRLM)

Jocelyn JIN, Queenie TAN, Digital Scholarship, NUS Libraries & Paul TAMBYAH (2020)

This project is a collaboration between the Digital Scholarship Team at NUS Libraries and the Infectious Diseases Research Coordinating Office (IDRCO) from the National Centre for Infectious Diseases. The website provides an overview of the local infectious disease research landscape from January 2015 to May 2019.

The project demonstrates the key findings through visualisations to identify local infectious disease research capabilities, research strengths as well as the challenges the infectious disease research community is facing. The visualisations and graphs include a grant analysis by the funding organisations, research output analyses and co-authorship network analyses under the 5 prioritized areas of research, a consolidated directory of current research capabilities in Singapore and a list of the trending research publications used for the project.
