For NUS Staff who are using NUS-owned computers/laptops you can install EndNote on your own or go to ITCare service counter. Please note that NUHS staff cannot install Endnote from NUS.
Before installing EndNote, please ensure that:

Follow the instructions on screen. When the installation is complete, this toolbar should appear in your Microsoft Word ribbon

The EndNote software is available only to NUS staff and students for both Windows and Mac users. Endnote should be removed (un-installed) when the user is no longer a staff or student of NUS.

Set Up 'Cite While Your Write' function
Once you complete the EN installation, double-click on the Endnote icon to open the application. You can choose to create a brand new library, or open an existing one if you are upgrading from an earlier version.
If you are installing Endnote for the very first time on your Mac, you need to open a blank MS Word document and locate the Endnote tool menu from "Tools". Alternatively, choose to have the Endnote toolbar shown in Word menu: go to View > Toolbars >Endnote
If you have a MacBook Pro with the silicon chip (M1), you need to enable Rosetta to grant permissions for both applications (EN20 and MSWord) to integrate. See here
If you are unable to see the EndNote tab in your MS Word, please check the MS Word Option. Go to the Add-ins. In the Active Add-ins, check the box next to Endnote 'Cite While You Write'. If it is not in the Active Add-ins, follow the steps below to move the CWYW feature from Inactive to Active.
