Database Alerts
The alert feature present in most databases enables you to set up a feed based on your tailored search so that relevant new articles will be sent to you when they are added to the database. Databases and indexes can send out alerts such as table of contents, search alerts, citation alerts and new publication alerts.
Journal Alerts
Want to keep up with updates from particular journals? Getting tables of contents emailed directly to you as new issues are published is a good way.
Google Alerts
This is a change detection and notification service offered by the search engine company Google. You can get emails when new results for a topic show up in Google Search.
News Alerts
RSS readers or feed aggregators allows you to stay in the know by retrieving latest content from publishers and other websites that you frequently source for information. You do not have to toggle between many websites to find new content - you can set up a news aggregator to receive all the new information in one place.
NUSL Collection Alerts
You can search for recently added titles (both electronic and physical copies) in the NUS Libraries collection by subject or topic.
