ScholarBank@NUS holds selected students' theses from various faculties, ranging from undergraduate level to postgraduate levels. The theses have different type of access settings as determined by the author/ department: Open to public, Restricted to NUS communities, or Closed access.
Note: Not all departments deposit their undergraduate theses to ScholarBank@NUS. Please contact the respective department for access of theses not found in ScholarBank@NUS.
To view and download thesis in the Restricted collection, you will have to login using your NUS-ID/ password. Refer to this guide for more information on how to access files in ScholarBank@NUS.
Theses in the Closed collection are not available for access.
All items in ScholarBank@NUS are grouped into collections and there are 4 main communities: Staff, Students, Departments and Others. Theses can be found in the Students community.
You can also discover theses in ScholarBank@NUS by searching using specific keywords.

Construct a search statement using your desired search term(s) to retrieve relevant results.
For example, you want to find Bachelor theses supervised by Assoc. Prof. Bruce Lockhart.
Sample Search Statement: dc.type:(thesis) AND dc.description.degree:(Bachelor) AND dc.contributor.supervisor:(Bruce)
Records in ScholarBank@NUS are indexed by major search engines such as Google and Google Scholar. Users can find ScholarBank@NUS records via these search engines.
1. You can do a topic search using keywords that best describe your topic, e.g. dementia thesis + scholarbank
2. You can do an exact title search.
