Citing sources allows you to acknowledge and give credit to the works of others whose ideas shape your own research and writing. You have to cite where you obtained the information you use for your research to avoid plagiarism.
Check with your lecturer the preferred citation style for the module. Be consistent in its use when you do in-text citation, or when you do your bibliography or reference list.
