Integration of Research ID & ORCID by Thomson Reuters
Researcher ID identifier is specific to Thomson Reuters. For researchers who had published works on online platforms, a research ID not only creates an easier way to track your cited counts and h-index, it also helps to showcase your pubished works publicly.
Thomson Reuters has now integrated the Researcher ID with ORCID (the Open Researcher and Contributor Identifier). ORCID is an open, non-profit, community-based effort to provide a registry of unique researcher identifiers and a transparent method of linking research activities and outputs to these identifiers.
