Request for Books to be Purchased into RBR
To request that the library purchase textbooks for your courses, to be placed into the Recommended Books and Readings (RBR) section, use this form. Please note there are restrictions on how many copies can be purchased, depending on the cohort size of each course.

Services

Request to Purchase Books
You can request for books to be purchased for your teaching or research. Please give sufficient advance notice (at least a month) if you are considering the text as required reading for your course. Articles and book chapters requested through this form cannot be uploaded to Canvas in Course Readings due to copyright issues.
NUS Writing and Communication Hub
In partnership with CELC, NUS Libraries Writers’ Centre offers a supports the NUS community across all forms of writing and presentatio, from course-based writing, scientific writing to personal statements and grant proposals.

Blended Learning

In alignment with the university's BL2.0 approach, the library has prepared support and guides for blended learning tools and resources.

Equipment to support blended learning is available for loan.

Tech-Enhanced Learning

A range of tech-enhanced learning facilities are available in the library's Tech Central, including:

TEL-Imaginarium – VR, AR and mixed reality tools for immersive teaching
Lightboard Room – For creating instructional videos with an illuminated glass board (provided by CIT)
360imx – Immersive theatre with 360º projection

Online Learning Resources

Open Education Resources (OER) are curated in this guide, including for Business topics, located in an adjoining tab in this guide.

A collection of online tools provided by the library can help you obtain full-text of articles quickly and easily from Google Scholar and other websites. Try LibKey Nomad, a browser extension that will prompt you with helpful icons wherever there are links to full-text available.
