This page provides a listing of organisations migrant workers may seek help from in criminal matters:

1. Criminal Legal Aid Scheme (for non-capital offences)
CLAS provides criminal legal assistance to those charged with non-capital offences and cannot afford legal counsel.

2. Legal Assistance Scheme for Capital Offences (LASCO) (info for lawyers)
Those charged with capital offences are assigned free legal counsel under LASCO (Supreme Court), regardless of nationality. There is no means test to pass or eligibility criteria to satisfy.
Form (for lawyers): Application to be emplaced on LASCO's register of Counsel

3. HealthServe
Provides casework and legal support to migrant workers with legal and criminal issues.

4. Humanitarian Organization for Migration Economics (HOME)
HOME provides free legal aid for workers in Singapore and continues to assist them on return to their country of origin.

5. Migrant Workers' Centre (MWC)
Migrant workers can seek free basic legal advice and assistance at the free legal clinic, a joint initiative of the Law Society of Singapore's Pro Bono Services Office and MWC.

6. Transient Workers Count Too (TWC2)
TWC2 is a non-profit organisation and registered charity. Workers requiring legal assistance may receive help at the Wednesday Clinic .
